You all received an email from me a couple of weeks ago talking about our new developer community. On November 3, PayPal will be launching x.com as our new developer site. x.com is a true community site on which you can interact with PayPal X Developer Network Forums, blogs, ratings, videos, and more.
To facilitate this move, on October 28, www.paypaldeveloper.com will become read-only. You’ll be able to search for information on the this site - but no content will be able to be updated. Starting November 3, you will log in to x.com with your existing PayPal account username and password.
- The first time you login to x.com, you’ll be asked to provide your PayPal Developer Community login and password so we can link it to your PayPal account.
Your current PayPal Developer community account information will be migrated to x.com. All of the content and information you have contributed to www.paypaldeveloper.com will be migrated to x.com by November 3.
And - a reminder on November 3-4 is our first PayPal Developer Conference - PayPal X Innovate 09. We will be launching and signing up people for x.com at the show - so come and be a part of the fun!!
